Trip Report

The trip left from the Hilton Garden Inn/ Basketball Hall of Fame parking lot at 4PM on March 1, 2025 and returned at 11:30PM the same date.

Springfield scored 1 goal in each of the 3 regulation time periods  (as follows)

• 1st goal by Dalibor Dvorsky (his 16th of the season)19:47 of the first period
• 2nd goal by Matthew Peca (his 23 of the season) at 2:07 of the second Periond
• 3rd and game tying goal coming from Corey Andonovski (his 4th of the season) at 16:52 of the 3rd period.
• There were no goals in the 5 min overtime period

The game went into a shootout mode after the overtime period.

The Springfield players who shot in the shootout at the end of the game were:

1. Mathew Pecka (Missed)
2. Matt Luff (Missed)
3. Tanner Dickenson (Scored)

The shootout then proceesed past the scheduled 3 rounds as the score was tied (John Farinacci of the Bruins scored in the shootout)

Nikita Alexandrov brought home the game winner in the 4th round of the shootout!!

The thunderbirds won in an overtime shootput for a final score of 4 - 3.

The 3 stars of the game were from Springfield and were as follows:

We ran a 1st goal pool on the bus on the way to the game and collected $26.00, The winner was John Chrisoforo with the closest quess of 18:00 (the 1st goal was scored at 19:47 of the first period. Congratulations to John.
