The trip left from the Hilton Garden Inn/ Basketball Hall of Fame parking lot at 4PM on January 18, 2025 and returned around 11:30PM the same date.
Springfield scored 4 goals in the 2nd period and 2 goals in the third period for a win with the final score of 6 to 4. Springfield goals were as follows (as follows)
- 1st goal by Otto Stenberg (his 1st of the season)2:43 of the 2nd period.
- 2nd goal by Hunter Skinner (his 5th of the season) at 8:56 of the 2nd period.
- 3rd goal by Hugh McGing (his 3rd of the season) at 15:45 of the 2nd period.
- 4th goal by Aleksanderi Kaskimaki (his 7th of the season at 19:20 of the 2nd period.
- 5th goal by Mackenzie MacEachern (his 4th of the season) at 7:33 of the 3rd period.
- 6th goal by Hugh McGing (his 4th of the season) at 11:13 of the 3rd period.
The thunderbirds won in aregulation time with a final score of 6 - 4.
